Marriage becomes Electra, as Ex-Baywatch beauty Carmen weds her rocker Dave Navarro in L.A.. Meanwhile in Nashville countrystar Wynnona Judd and bodyguard beau D.R. Roach say 'I do' too.
The first hint that ex-Baywatch star Carmen Electra and Jane's Addiction guitarist Dave Navarro were planning something unique for their nuptials was the platinum and red invitation. Attire, the note said, should be "hot and sexy". And when the 200 guests (including Hugh Hefner and Kelly and Jack Osbourne) arrived at L.A.'s St. Regis Hotel on Nov. 22, they were greeted by black-clad gentlemen in red mask - a nod to one of the pair's favorite films, Eyes Wide Shut - and then escorted into a Garden of Eden, complete with projected water walls, flowered metal vines and a white python. "It was all about the sexy part of Carmen,"says wedding producer Randie Pellegrini, "and the rock and roll part of Dave."
As the ceremony got under way at 5:30 p.m., Electra, 31, told a friend "What's really going to touch my heart is when my dad takes a step back when walking down the aisle and my husband takes his place." For his part Navarro, 36, said, "I'm nervous! I'm marrying the girl of my dreams." Preceded by a maid of honor and four bridesmaids (among them Sharon Osbourne), Electra made her entrance in a strapless beaded Badgley Mischka cream gown, accented by Neil Lane chandelier drop earrings. Gazing at Navarro, who wore a Gucci suit, Electra joked during her vows, "I thought I would never marry a guy who looks in the mirror more than I do." Throughout the evening "there was just as much laughter as there were tears," says wedding stylist Amanda Reno. "They found the one, and they wanted to shout it from the rooftops."

Carmen and Dave Do It On Camera
Move over, Trista and Ryan and Nick and Jessica--there's a new, and slightly more lascivious, wedding special in town.
Former Playboy centerfold and Baywatcher Carmen Electra and rocker Dave Navarro said their "I dos" last weekend in Los Angeles, with an MTV camera crew capturing all the nuptial action for their upcoming reality show, 'Til Death Do Us Part: Carmen & Dave.
Because MTV got dibs on the wedding, details were scarce. The cable network confirmed it shot the ceremony on Saturday, but said there wouldn't be any further comment until the wedding special airs in January.
"MTV has been given an unprecedented look into the personal and professional lives of Carmen Electra and Dave Navarro to reveal the behind the scenes process of putting on a wedding that might prove to be the most talked about event of the year," said Brian Graden, president of entertainment for MTV and VH1, in a statement.
"Our audience continues to look to MTV to provide increased access and deeper connections to celebrities and we're thrilled to provide them with an inside look at the planning and making of Carmen and Dave's wedding."
The series will follow the titillating twosome in the days leading up to their wedding, giving viewers a fly-on-the-wall perspective of various nuptial preparations.
Included on the to-be-seen list: floral arrangement selection, guest list culling, wedding-vow composition and bachelor and bachelorette party debauchery.
The series will culminate with the footage of the big day itself, which, according to reports, included such lucky guests as MTV's camera-ready Osbourne clan and members of Navarro's band, Jane's Addiction.
The couple, enaged since 2001, reportedly dined on sushi following the formalities, which took place at the St. Regis Hotel.
It was the second marriage for both halves.
Electra's first notorious wedding was a quickie number in Las Vegas, at which she married eccentric NBA star , Dennis Rodman. The pair split almost as quickly--just six months later.
Her other high-profile romances included flings with B-Real of Cypress Hill, Fred Durst and Prince--who inspired the former Tara Leigh Patrick to change her name to Carmen simply by telling her that she looked like a "Carmen." (The Electra part was chosen in honor of the mythological Greek babe.)
Navarro has a somewhat more shrouded romantic past. The former Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist wed his first bride in a pagan ceremony that apparently didn't take--the duo later went their separate ways.
After Navarro and Electra met on a blind date in 2001, both reportedly knew it was true love. Navarro has said of their meeting, "The moment she walked into the restaurant, I thought, I'm a dead man, it's over. I'm done." They were engaged only months later.
The newest newlyweds are keeping themselves busy outside of their MTV gig. Electra has been seen shaking her goodies onstage as part of the sexy dance revue the Pussycat Dolls, while Navarro has been touring in Europe in support of Jane's Addiction's reunion effort, Strays.
The pair also both appeared in cameo roles in 2003's Uptown Girls, which starred Brittany Murphy (news).
Next on Electra's slate is a role in the upcoming remake of TV classic Starsky & Hutch with Ben Stiller (news), Owen Wilson (news) and Snoop Dogg, and a part in Searching For Bobby DeNiro, an action-comedy due in theaters in 2004.

MTV Wedding Special
Let Trista and Ryan have their dreamy, poetic, romantic, overproduced televised wedding, MTV will capture a different kind of reality marriage with the series "'Til Death Do Us Part: Carmen & Dave." The behind-the-scenes peek at the nuptials of Carmen Electra and Dave Navarro will premiere in January of 2004.
While the romantic combination of a sub-Rhodes Scholar MTV personality and a musician may sound a little too "Newlyweds" for some viewers, the "Baywatch" star and Jane's Addiction rocker will probably have a different kind of wedding.
"MTV has been given an unprecedented look into the personal and professional lives of Carmen Electra and Dave Navarro to reveal the behind the scenes process of putting on a wedding that might prove to be the most talked about event of the year," says Brian Graden, president of entertainment for MTV and VH1. "Our audience, continues to look to MTV to provide increased access and deeper connections to celebrities and we're thrilled to provide them with an inside look at the planning and making of Carmen and Dave's wedding."
The series, currently in production, will follow the couple as they plan the event, select the guest list (you probably weren't be invited), and decide whether or not a woman who once married Dennis Rodman is entitled to wear white at her wedding.
The show will also include the bachelor/bachelorette parties. Reportedly invitations to those bashes included naked pictures of the couple lying on a morgue slab.
The show will culminate in the wedding itself. The MTV cameras won't be invited along on the honeymoon, but that video will probably make its way to the Internet eventually.
NEW YORK (Billboard) -- The latest celebrity couple to receive the MTV reality-show treatment is Jane's Addiction guitarist Dave Navarro and actress Carmen Electra.
Production has begun on " 'Til Death Do Us Part: Carmen & Dave," a documentary miniseries that will follow the engaged pair as they plan their wedding, which is scheduled to take place in Los Angeles later this year. The show is scheduled to premiere in January.
"MTV has been given an unprecedented look into the personal and professional lives of Carmen Electra and Dave Navarro to reveal the behind-the-scenes process of putting on a wedding that might prove to be the most talked-about event of the year," MTV/VH1 president of entertainment Brian Graden said in a statement.
The show will cover the planning of the wedding, the pair's bachelor and bachelorette parties, a guest performance and the wedding itself, which will bring the series to a close.
Jane's Addiction just wrapped a European tour in support of its latest album "Strays" (Capitol), which debuted at No. 4 on The Billboard 200 in August and has sold 335,000 copies in the U.S., according to Nielsen SoundScan. Navarro also performed Saturday with his band Camp Freddy at a Los Angeles benefit for the Step Up Women's Network.
