Duff McKagan's arrival as a bass
player for Jane's Addiction was confirmed by Dave via is Radio Show "Dark
Matter" on March, 31st. So this goes hand in hand with Eric's depature being
confirmed.

is at an end.".

After a Jane's Addiction New
Years Gig in Aspen with Chris Chaney on bass, Eric Avery twitter the world
that he is still going to perform with the band in Australia. But his future
within the band seems uncertain, since Perry twittered "David, Stephen, and
I with new writing partner, went into the garage. Felt like old days, except
no cassette recorder. Crafting w/Protools." Things are looking as if this
new writing partner is Duff McKagan, formerly Guns'n'Roses. So far there
is no offical statement so let's see what the future brings. |

Jane's Addiction cancelled the
Australian part of their tour due to an elbow infection that Stephen Perkins
got.
Dave via Twitter "Time to address the rumors. Our Australia tour has been
canceled. Stephen Perkins has injured his arm and is in the hospital being
treated."
Eric Avery said via Twitter "So sorry 2 report but stephen developed a really
bad problem with his elbow on the flight home and we are thus having to
cancel/postpone oz."
Dave just posted a pic of Stephen at the hospital.

a "secret show" tomorrow! The show takes place at the Centro, 18 West Central
Street, Holborn, WC1A 1 JJ, England. Get there early as tickets are sold

Nine Inch Nails / Jane's Addiction / Street Sweeper tour was just launched
yesterday.

After receiving the first NME
"Godlike Genius Award" ever on April 23rd, 2008, the long awaited reunion
of Jane's Addiction finally became reality. And yes, this time
Eric Avery is on board, too!
After a few shows in L.A. there is
tour with Nine Inch Nails this summer,
a
Box-Set (coming out on the 21st of April, 2009).

There's still not a lot news
right now. Carmen Electra won 'Best Kiss' at this years MTV Movie Awards,
and if you watch the show you can also get a glimpse at Dave. Also, MTV /USA
as well as Europe) is currently showing the very 1st episode of 'Punk'd',
where Dave and Carmen got 'Punk'd'. Word from Dave is also, that he, Stephen
Perkins and Chris Chaney are working on some music - so stay tuned for

Camp Freddy launched their weekly
radio show at Indie 103.1 FM, complete with Dave taking over the dj duties
from time to time, Carmen Electra doing the weather, and Johnny Fayva doing
traffic, according to their website.
